Claymont Steak Shop: Indulge in Authentic Cheesesteaks and More!

The food is always delicious from here I always order in person since I'm up & down Concord Pike so often, and they've never made any mistake. Portion sizes are awesome here... I feel like I'm actually getting a meal for what I pay for. Not the healthiest of food, but that's okay every now and then

I’ve always gone to the Claymont location but tried the Concord Pike store for the first time and it was excellent. The food is great and the place is clean and inviting. Definitely recommend it.

First time here and I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by the steak sandwich. The meat was tender and chewable. I’ve eaten at lots of steak shop throughout the Philadelphia Region and I can say that this is in my top 3 steak shop. My others in the region are Malin’s in Newark Delaware and the other is Leo’s Steak Shop In Folcoft, PA

After leaving Chuck E. Cheese with the family, we decided to grab a bite to eat, and we randomly stopped at this place because we heard they had excellent Philly cheesesteaks. Once inside, we were impressed by the clean atmosphere and the great menu options. Although we initially planned to order something different, my wife and I ended up with tuna subs, while we got our son a little pizza. We also shared some mozzarella sticks. The food was outstanding, with fantastic flavors. The pizza was especially amazing—truly top-notch. There was nothing to critique about the experience; the staff was fantastic, and we’re definitely planning to return to try more menu items. Despite being known for their Philly cheesesteaks, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the simpler tuna subs. The food was served quickly, in generous portions, and I highly recommend checking this place out. Among all the pizzas I've had recently, this one stood out. I feel really fortunate that we decided to stop there at such a random moment, and I’m excited to go back and explore more of their menu in the future!

Claymont Steak House absolutely delivered. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was nothing short of amazing—packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and everything you want a true cheesesteak to be. On top of that, the customer service was top-notch. Friendly, welcoming, and fast, which made the experience even better. This spot is definitely worth a visit, and I’ll 100% be going back. Stopped in for a weekday lunch at Claymont Steak Shop. Ordered a small (10”) cheesesteak with fried onions and crushed hot peppers and a side of fries. The steak consisted of a large amount of finely chopped meat with a slightly underwhelming amount of cheese making the top meat pretty dried out. The hot peppers added a good kick to every bite. The fries were steak fries and cooked and seasoned fairly well. Overall, it was pretty good but, coming from someone who lives in Philly, the cheesesteak was just alright.

The food is delicious the cheesesteaks have so much meat in them just wish they were more consistent the flavor wasn't the same as the last two times I was there I do recommend the cheese steaks they are so big you can share one with your loved one and both of you will be full when purchasing a jumbo I believe it is or extra large we also have eaten the chicken cheesesteaks they are good as well and they're cold sandwiches are good too we were not crazy about the desert but everyone has their own taste and you might find them delicious he also has his and hers bedroom they have two TVs that you can watch while eating also they make pizza which I have never had that looks delicious going to try my next time there it is a must stop in

This was our family’s first time ordering from this location. The last few reviews are worrisome, so I thought it important to share my experience. We ordered pickup. The person on the phone taking my order was polite and repeated my order back for accuracy. The order was ready within 20 minutes and was a $60-$70 order. The food was delicious. The chicken cheesesteak was my personal favorite also the wings. I’m not a big cheesesteak kind of gal because I’m extremely picky with the type of steak used , this didn’t disappoint.
